Are there any Cotton Belt MP15's? At any rate, spare the airbrush, just buy the current SP unit and change the lettering!
I wasn't trying to call you out there...I was just thinking I might have bought a CB unit instead of the SP I ordered if that was the case. I don't know my SP/CB stuff very well...or UP for that matter. I would like to have a Cotton Belt unit of some kind on my layout. My prototype didn't get a lot of SP/CB power, but an adjacent UP (ex-MKT, RI) line did have some. I'll probably end up picking up a GP60 for the daily rock train.
No worries. I didn't know SSW didn't have MP15s. I wanted something to use in a lashup with other engines as I feel that these smaller SW800/900/1200s don't have enough traction. MP15s look more modern than the SW1200. Maybe I will get an Espee, but I doubt it. Wonder how this MP15 pulls in relation to the VO1000? SW1200?
I don't know but I bet you will have plenty of opinions (and possibly even a few facts) about this posted in the next week or two! hehe
Flash, The one sure way to get rolling stock in your desired paint is to paint your own. When you do, immedately one will be produced in that raod name and by your favorite manufacturer. I can tell you from experience, it never fails. I have the proof, in fact I have tons of proof! Doc
