Hi! Help! Does anyone know the correct MicroTrains coupler for the tender of the brass Oriental Limited L97 4-6-6-4 Challenger? I tried the 1023 and the 1016 to no avail. No help on the MicroTrains web page. Tony Burzio San Diego, CA
Thanks! The 2004 did the trick! The steamer pulled out with a 35 car oil tank train, and promptly threw the drive tube I had repositioned. Sigh. There is a plastic tube between the motor and the input to the drive line shaft. It had come loose and I had opened the engine to fix and ened up just sliding it back into position. Well, the extra force made it slide off again. Yesterday I tried again, but this time I replaced the drive line plastic tube with a piece of tubing from a hospital oxygen feed line. Much tighter stuff, should stay put... Tony Burzio San Diego, CA

Tony: I'm glad that worked for you.... I use the MT #2004's on the Bachmann Spectrum 2-8-0's and 4-8-2's. The only time I use the MT 1015's is on the MP 4-6-2's and 2-8-2's as well as the LL 2-8-8-2's Stay cool and run steam......
