    Jeff drove up and visited MTL this past week, and Joe gave him the tour where he said he seen a machine cranking out the PS2's, and that they were awesome!

    I can't wait to get a few for myself to complement my 70 toners. :D

    They do look very nice. What would be the time period of the prototype?

    the PS-2 hopper was built from the mid 60s through the late 70s (if not later)

    these specific models are from the early 1970s I believe (like 1973 or thereabouts)

    Please forgive my ignorance but was this style of hopper ever used by the Pennsylvania RR Co?

    Thank you Chris & Bambuko for the links, this means I now have another type of wagon to add to the roster when MTL releases them in PRR colours.

    I am pretty sure that they were being produced after the 50's ... but that might have been a rebuild program
