HA yes! Some of the fotomats are still around, just abandoned. It's crazy, I was looking at one in Ohio on Google Maps the other day. I almost feel like building a real one in my backyard someday.

I think the top right corner could manage a ridge, like in the Walthers layout photo. But def not a mountain. I can shift this loop around on the base a little bit, I could tighten the loop by removing track. I did that already to give myself about 25mm on each end.

I think a small mountain and tunnel can be done in the top left but you guys are the experts - you know more than I do. I think if there's a park space it would be small and at the top of the moutain/hill on the left. We can certainly play with it more with some cut up foam. I can always by more 2x2 foam if the mock up doesn't look OK. I was thinking of doing a 2 or 3 layer moutain/hill on the far left with a small tunnel. I've seen on other layouts they abut these big masses on the edges.

It certainly worked on this 3x5, now don't get me wrong, I'm not planning something this large for a mountain ---

I'm not very familiar with the northside of Appleton. I usually take County A or WI 55 to head north of US41. Found the Toybox. So, just like the two places south of Neenah, they are out in the country.
"Brookfield Central" is in the Milwaukee area.
The accents I've pick up is in the southern part of the state were it can sound like South of the Dixie Line. "The Daughters of the Confederacy" has the biggest club chapter in Wisconsin.
    Then there's Canadians up north.

I know what you guys are up to! ;)

"Honey, I'm going to a few strip clubs this afternoon to do research for my train layout. I'm only going to check out the signs.".
