This is my "Albemarle Division" ... a fictitious major branchline of the C&O. HO Scale. Gotta get better at this picture business... but hey.. its a start!! This is what I have been up to. My next "thaang" to post is a plan of the layout... (Just gotta do one and scan it in) I think we see on the interchange siding RS-1's 5114, 5115 (Atlas, painted and lettered by Moi) and a Baldwin AS616 #5535 (Stewart, factory paint) passing by, pulling a Dynamometer Car in the freight consist. Anyway.................. [ 18. August 2002, 19:48: Message edited by: Kitbash ]
Looks good. I can't wait till my layout gets to a point where I can actually show off some good looking pictures like that.
Congratulations on going "live on the web" That whole scene looks excellent, I look forward to seeing more. [ 18. August 2002, 21:24: Message edited by: Alan ]
I agree, very nice indeed! Hopefully we will get to see some more as you "experiment" (errr.....play) Russ Hoffman Valley RR
Thanks guys!!! I have a lot of details to fill in. As you all know, it is a never ending process... labor of love as it were. This is an overall view of my Albemarle Division layout in our "Rec' Room". There is beyond the closet, a reversing loop that is finished. There is to be another Coal Branch on top of the reversing loop which is my next "track laying" project. When done, the layout will be a continuously running dogbone with two reversing loops. Overall it is 23'-6" long and constructed so if I move, the layout can easily be knocked down and relocated when we move someday. That is why I have "temporary" fluorescents hung over the table. There is also incan' track/flood lighting out of the picture in front of the layout. -Kitbash [ 20. August 2002, 09:44: Message edited by: Kitbash ]
