Hello Friends I'm happy to annouced that my website is almost finish. I've tried to do my best in the english part of the website (the german part is not finished). The Website has over 200 Pictures from my Collection (AZL, MTL, FR, Theotherlionel, etc. and of course the pictures from the Rio Grande GP35 from David Freehling). In the near future I'll also display my european Rolling Stock and some Items for sale. I'm still working on some part of the site but I think its good enough to show it yet. Any comments would be very appreciated. Thanks. The URL is: http://www.rosetown.ch
I just spent quite a while looking over all your great collection Jürg, and I must say it is first class all the way. And so is your website! Excellent work!
what a great website. so easy to manuever and you keep the variety of subjects interesting. you've outdone yourself! now let's get you some passenger cars on that layout! dave f.
I know how much work goes into a web project like this, and you've really done a beautiful job Jürg. I'm just a little biased , but I'm very impressed with your presentation. All of your images are presented wonderfully for Z scale (or any scale!), all very dramatic and photographed from interesting angles. Just an excellent job, you should be proud of your site! Thank you guys for the kind words. It's really motivating. I've a lot more Rolling Stock to display in the near future but I'm waiting for the next wonderful Diorama that John Cubbin will build for me. He's allready in the planning state and I hope he will finished the Diorama at the end of September.
Great site! This is a very good way for people to see so much of what is available in Z in one sie. Very nice.
Jürg, Your website is very nice, well organised. Also now the name has a face to it. I really liked the way you have the pictures displayed. I have added your website to my favourites. Kim
Jürg, your pictures are so good that the märklin F7 almoust look as good as the AZL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Henrik I really would appreciate if Märklin comes out with a new Diesel Design. The F7's are almost 30 Years old! I'm happy that AZL and MTL has that nice Rollingstock to offer for us. I can't wait for a SD70 in Southern Pacific or in SF red warbonnet paint scheme. Also the GP 7/9's will be very necessary to fill the gap.
Jurg, maybe we will get lucky, and Marklin will make us a GP40. I guess the odds of that happening are the same as winning a lottery, but you never know.
John, a GP40 would be nice! I would also like that they produce a new Steamlocomotive. They have allready the Mallet so a Bigboy can be done.
I think it is moust possibile that they produse a bigboy. The problem with Märklin is that their engines are so big that you can only fit it in a nose engine, so any modern locomotives is nothing to hope for from them..
