Hi Jeffery, If you look at the text box for posting you will see 3 buttons to select. If you pick Upload a file you are presented with a box the choose your file. You can navigate to your photos and pick one. It will then upload the photo. Then below the text box you are presented with the option to show as a thumbnail or full size. Make your choice and there you go. If you want text before the picture just highlight it and hit return, it will drop down a line and you can type above is. The rest they say is history! Welcome to Trainboard, I’m looking forward to seeing what you have! Dale Baker
I want to give a shout out to you guys running this board for the easiest procedure to add pictures I have ever seen in a forum. Doug
Very nice and best of luck with your empire in the future. Pictures look great and I agree easiest forum ever to upload images. Once you learn the first time This place is so cool!
thanks all I have had only one other train set it was Tyco way back in 1975 when I was a kid.My wife got me that for Christmas I just added the box car to it the build will start soon.
Are you running DC, DCC? Are those sound units? You have just entered “the zone” LOL Good luck with your build, I’d suggest before you start laying down track that you ponder on what aspect of MRR appeals to you. Running round and round, switching or what have you. That way you can build something in line with your interests. Party on! DB
I am from a Rail road town with tracks that went right through the down town area at one time. I hope to add this to my build. Along the same rail line we have 4 smaller towns who still have the tracks running though there down town.Ours were pulled up and diverted around many years ago. Its sad really if not for the rail road my town would not be here. At one time we were a major hub and it saddens me that we have removed this piece of history from our town. What a great metropolitan area this could be. so hey if you live in a rail road town post it Goldsboro N.C
You've made a start. Just keep taking steps ahead. Large ones or very small, it is all progress AND enjoying the hobby!
I was looking up digital sets and have a few questions The Bachmann digi track seems to be gray right? if I have the dc set can the locomotive be converted? Can you use the regular track with the DCC set?
Wow, haven't seen a Santa Fe F unit since my older brother's Lionel back in the early 60's. He had the powered and un powered units. Loved it when he ran them at night! Is the new one a GP something or other? What livery?---John
