Maybe my dumb mistake will help others or, I'm the only thick skull here. Well, most of Fri eve and much of this am (Sat) after I ran and soldering feeders. Decided to do a continuity test and all the black checked and all the red checked. For , not sure why, I did a continuity test between the red and black,,,,,, UT ooh... the beeper on my meter went off saying I had a joint somewhere. Well to make the story short, back and forth, back and forth, check switches and even started disconnecting track. My wife saw me pulling what hair I have left out and came to inquire. Explained the situation and I SAID I"M OK AND WILL FIGURE IT OUT..... As she was walking away she said to me, maybe its because you have a locomotive on the upper track.............................. AHHHHHHHHHHHH. Anywho, took the loco off and,,,, all is well.. Taking the wife out to dinner tonight Joe
So, now that she has shown interest what room in the house will she help you build a layout in.biggrin:
Your wife is a genius, but a nice dinner, some wine, who knows? ... same problem arises if you check A/B continuity while leaving the A/B tracks connected to the controller. Whoops, was I asleep or what?
