Hey, If any of you have a decent industrial area with lots of trackage, I want to see pictures! Looking for ideas in modeling mine in the semi-near future. Thanks, R.S.
This is the Battleboro industrial switching area on my layout. (The area above the three engine lash up parked on the run around.) All the sidings are stub end so everything has trailing point turnouts. Also, only the two sidings in the lower left (with the tank cars) go to a specific industry. I have created about 10 industries in the other buildings along the wall and they are identified by signs. When switching, I spot cars in proximity to these industries, but I don't have specific siding locations for them. This area is about 15 x 60 inches.
