N Scale Locomotive of the Year?

What??????? No mention of the obvious winner. The Briggs M-420! Mine are still on the water, but if a "shell" only kit counts, it's got my vote.

The Kato E-5 gets my vote and the Bmann 2-6-0 as a 2nd place.

 

I didn't purchase any of the nominees, so I suppose I should recuse myself, but I'd have to go with the Kato E5.

 

BLI E6 DCC in UP livery, ran super out of the box , sound is spot on

My vote goes to the Kato/Kobo P-42 #100. It was worth the price.

Kato E5.Not my cup of tea being a Passenger train but seen it at the local Hobbyshop and went back to get it couple of days latter.nice.

 

I have to agree on the E5, definitely #1.

Bachpersonn 2-6-0.

 

Seeing no one has yet seen fit to do an RSD15 I'll have to go with the Bachmann 2-6-0.

I hope Bachmann keep on bringing out ordinary looking workaday steamers instead of the usual fare of giant articulateds and flashy streamliners.

Yeah, the E6's are good, just a bit pricey... Still, bought three....AB ATSF set and a UP A unit. Run, look and sound great!
