I don't know if someone has already pointed this out but the new issue of N-Scale magazine has a very nice layout of Alan's Spine cars on page 22 of New Products. It's always nice to see you in print Alan. ------------------ Residing in BNSF's St. Croix Subdivision near Trempealeau, WI

How about posting a pic of a "Spine Car". I don't think They make such a car for HO. I have never seen one, yet I hear you guys talk about them all the time. What does a spine car haul, Spines?? ------------------ Watash
A spine car is pretty much that, just a spine frame. In this case we are referring to the 5-unit articulated sets. They can haul either a trailer or a single container each. As for a picture, go to Alan's site for some info on them. I got to hand it to you again Alan! Without my glasses I thought those were tooth picks on wheels! I have seen those on the BNSF as it goes by here in Ft.Worth, now I know what they are! Thanks, they look highly detailed. ------------------ Watash
Thanks, Watash Those 'toothpics' were not around in steam days, so you are forgiven for not knowing what they were ------------------ Alan The perfect combination - BNSF and N Scale! www.alancurtismodels.com Andersley Western Railroad Alan's American Gallery
I saw the magazine today. Good job Alan! Looks great!!! They threw me out of the store when I kept holding the magazine up screaming "I know him, I know him ..." Well, maybe not but it was still nice. Charlie ------------------ Ship It On The FRISCO! | IAMOKA.com

Don't worry Charlie, I mentioned that I knew Alan too, and they just kinda looked at me like I was from Mars. Maybe if Alan had an American supplier, he'd get a bit more publicity on this side of the pond... ------------------ Brian Schmidt railohio@hotmail.com ICQ #21630753 AIM - railohio
