N scale vehicles on the cheap!

Anyone familiar with Hot Wheels in the 60's and 70's should remember their competition, Johnny Lightning. Johnny Lightning (Now owned by Playing Mantis) has been back in the small die cast vehicle business again for about 10 years or so. They have recently released a MONOPOLY game series of vehicles that have the 1/64th scale car plus a very detailed pewter game token of the same car which HAS to be very close to 1/160th scale if not right on. I found the 1982 (Pennsylvania Avenue) Chevy Camaro today at Target. When I got home I put the token car next to a couple of GHQ vehicles that I have and the proportions are correct. They are releasing the following:

These are sold at Wal-Mart, K-mart, Toys R Us,
Family Toy Warehouse, Target and many more.
I will definately be on the lookout for these as modern N scale vehicles are hard to find.

 

Oops. Forgot to mention the price. $2.99ea. at Target. I get an N scale vehicle. My son gets a car to play with too!

 

Thanks Herman I'm just getting started on my N scale railroad and still in the planing stages.

I'm not sure what time frame I'm looking at yet I need to do alot of research and get things together so I can put my bench up and figure out how I want my layout , i have a few Ideas but I'm still looking at options .

 

Hope they come to Canada. We get 98% of stuff sold in Wally Mart as in US, but occassionally something is left out. I will look for them, thanks for the info. We don't have Target here

 

I found the Electric Company Van and the B&O Railroad Tahoe today at WalMart in Ashtabula. I went to Johnny Lightning's website last nite and found out that the Pennsylvania Avenue '82 Camaro is exclusive only to Target stores.
