Applying decals to some undecorated 2 bay offset side hoppers I picked up some time in the past. Adding to my fleet of hoppers of local roads. Currently working on the Montour RR and the Pittsburgh & West Virginia (P&WV). Pittsburg & Shawmut (P&S) to follow

Here is a picture of my new project. I have been working on the tender first as I had to shorten the B'mann tender frame to hold the cast one. The boiler is sitting on a B'mann J chassis. The doghouse will not sit on top of water tank but rather to the side and up against the oil bunker. Obviously a lot to do.

This is what I am shooting for.................

    Always have fun,

I had never realized the "dog house" was offset to one side, as in that last photo.

It depended on the railroad. The T&NO had lots of cylindrical tenders where it was easier to put them off to one side, usually the engineer's side.
