    Hey Everyone,
I have had the luck of running across a Marklin diamond special Loco but the tender I received was not the correct tender. I have been looking everywhere I could think of to find a replacement or just something that would work and look correct. Any help would be great.

I doubt anyone has a spare Marklin tender sitting around. They don't sell items like that as a spare parts. There are a few routs you could go.

An Nn3 tender. Although it may be a bit wide, it will look close enough, and its probably the cheapest option. Republic Locomotive Works sells two mogul kits (RLW 2102 and RLW 2170) that come with tenders (shown below). You may be able to ask Marshall at RLW if he would sell you just the tender, or you will just have to buy the whole kit. The tender will require MTL trucks and couplers sold separately.

Aspen Model sells a Nn3 tender that looks identical to the one on their Z scale old timer. Its listed on their German site under “30085 Nn3 Kit Tender Brass fits to 2-8-0 #74“. You could contact RS Laser kits, and see if they can get the part for you.

SeaRails sells two cast brass tenders. There is a slope backed and a 26' tender available. Google "Searails tender" and it will take you to the ordering page.
