Has anyone viewed the following video : Neff Video productions: Southern Pacific / DRGs Tennessee Pass It was shot in 1994 and released as a VHS. Is there any chance to get a DVD copy nowadays? If yes, could you communicate any relevent info of where to buy it? Any comment on the content?
I have it, but haven't watched it in a while. I seem to remember that it is pretty nice. Was it the one with a AC4400 cab ride from Pueblo?
Hemi, The only thing I know from this video is the cover, as follow: The train on the cover seems to be an intermodal with containers. I have never seen any containers-only train on Tennessee Pass so far. I have seen "Tennessee Pass Vol 2 " from Machines of Iron and "Rio Grande Today" sofar. How often could one see intermodal trains on former Tennessee Pass, especially during 1990-1997? Did container-only trains run on former TPass ?
Maybe it's not the cabride video. I have one that has that in it, but I forget. There is but one or two stack trains int he entire video. If you want another good TP vid, get Charles Smiley's 'Tennessee Pass From Start To Finish' http://www.trainmovies.com/gallery/tennessee.html
Hemi, cabrides on TPass are in Tennessee Pass Vol 1 and Vol2 videos from Machine of Irons. https://securewschent01.websitecomplete.com/charleyw/shop/showDept.asp?dept=82 Charles Smiley's 'Tennessee Pass From Start To Finish' looks great. I definitely need this one as well... Oh my poor wallet!
There's great stuff in all of those. There's more, if you get WB Productions (if you can find it) 'Diesels West', and the 'Rio Grande Today' There's an 18-unit coalieon TP in the first vid.
I have a NEFF video "DVD" Copyrighted 1994 runs for 60 mins and has some great action on the TP including 13 Tunnel motors on a single coal train....I assume this is the same as the Video above...has a better cover! DRGW5512 on the point of a double stack.
Andy, What is the title of your NEFF DVD? Any pic of the cover? Thanks for your feedback. Jean-Edouard

Did you get info on where to buy? Did you get the information you needed to purchase the DVD? You may do so by contacting Neff Video Productions directly. I believe the information would be on the back of your exsisting VHS or DVD. Looks like this: :shade:
