I was referring to Head End Power generically ... not specifically Electric or Steam (I just used a poor choice of words)
The DD40 offerings of the past were not up to par...I dare to include the most recent run of the OMI as well. I had a first run unit and a second run unit...with the exception of a few details added, Same Unit! Horrendous drivetrain, poor truck sideframes, etc. I'm really not trying to bash OMI on this one, just see another offering in pastic at a non-brass rate would be wonderful. You know, a runner. I also had an FEF-3 by Key that was the cat's meow...absolutely stunning in every way! Ran like a swiss watch too. It pains me to think I sold it. I would buy two FEF's to cover the Greyhound and Black versions run on excursion trains. Chuck
