Evening all, I got a look at the pre print pages of a new book on the Visalia Electric. For you all who have not heard of this railroad, it ran south of Fresno, out of the town of Visalia for lots of years. It ran to most of the small towns on the eastern side of the valley during the period when fruit packing was big in the area. Long before all the people started building houses in the orchards. Anyway it looks to be a very intresting book and there are lots of top quality pictures of the line in the early days and the SP days. I think it will be in the stores before the end of November.
