For those who have visited or watched any one of the many videos produced on Crawford Hill, Belmont Nebraska has a new bridge. A modern looking structure, it obscures less of you view, but one more relic of the past has bitten the dust. Rumor was the old structure was up for sale, but I don't know it's present condition or location.
Wish I could get up that way for some railfanning too. That bridge looks like a pretty neat spot to shot around.
It's a great trip up there. Did the Alliance, Crawford, and PRB trip two years ago and it was railfan heaven.
Hey, all of us BNSF fans should get together and do both! I want to get a company sponsored trip to the PRB region.
Did that trip in the mid 90s, about 3 times, its great. Another place thats great is the Joint line in CO.
