Although being a long time N scale modeller, Dave O'Rourke has defected to HO for his latest exhibition layout. He usually models German subjects and this new layout is no exception. Hockstein has a visible area of around 7 feet by 2 feet, plus a fiddle (staging) yard of about 2 feet. I saw this layout for the first time at the Spalding Model Railway Club exhibition on Sunday. It was a great success on both days over the weekend with what looked to me like record visitoprs. here is dave behind the layout setting up something in the fiddle yard. Nicely done! How big is this little layout? This, plus a couple more modules of equal size, would really be awesome, and could keep someone busy for a while.
