New fallen shortline? Georgetown Shortline

    Was up in Georgetown,CA this past weekend and noticed that all the rail has been taken up on the Georgetown Shortline live steamer ride. :(

    Anybody hear any news? Any future to this op?

    Ran across this post looking for additional information on the Georgetown Shortline. The depot and car barn are still there, but the track has all been removed. There is still a plaque with information about the railroad, but no other information. Obviously it's gone but does anyone know what happened?
