I haven't read The Chase yet myself, I tend to stick mostly toward his NUMA books, mostly the main Dirk Pitt or the Kurt Austin adventures. Some of the other spin-offs I haven't enjoyed as much, like the Oregon or NUMA files. I like him better when he sticks to his main series, because I feel the stories are just generally better developed and more attention is given to them. Though since the Chase is totally new territory for him in general I've been pretty curious to check it out, so that might be my next book.
