    Hello everyone,

I have been lurking in the shadows on this board for several months and decided to come out and participate. I have a general question so I apologize if this is not the correct area for it.

I have a trackplan I would like to have the board review before I begin laying track. How do you post the images of your layout plans to the bottom of your posts?

I have read the FAQ but did not recognize anything I thought would allow me to do it, I could have overlooked it though. Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Goto Railimages.com, there you can create a free account (donations are welocme though) and post away. Once you do that, pretty much anyone can help you with the posting instructions.

    Welcome!

    Mike,

Well I don't belong to Railimages yet but I do have my own webpage, I think I'll try to get that to work for now. I found the instructions at the RailImages page, thanks.

Edited: Well it worked I'll start a new post with the layout design for review.

The problem many have with wanting to post images from their website here is that the provider that supports those web sites don't allow the images to be view via other sites.

My website provider does allow this but I also use RailImages for other RR related images too as it a great avenue for displaing images here at TrainBoard without having to adjust your website if the image is not related to your efforts there.

Please don't be shy about using RailImages, you just help it to be that much more successful by using it and encouraging others to use it.

Welome to the board and I hope we can some how be helpful to you. I run a layout party twice a year. The last one I was pulled away from just as it started as my mother was seriously ill and eventually passed away from her illness. I am looking forward to another party, this time I've bought a digital camera so I'm really ready.

Layout parties are provided to help people get more work done, or start work on something new, or push through a procrastinating section of layout construction (this is the one I'm in - electrical). So feel free to join in on the party once it is started - probably some time in the third week of January.

Layout parties are being held in other forums, not belonging to trainboard, but the concept originated here in the layout design forum. So hop on board our party in about 4 - 5 weeks.

Again welcome and have a safe, healthy and merry Christmas.
