I live in eastern Mass, with an interest in CSX (current time), Conrail (mid 1990's) and New York Central (1960), modeling in HO on a 12 x 14 layout in progress. Built for single person operating. I support my not so local hobby shop (40 miles away), Maine Trains, in Chelmsford, MA.
Hi Michael, welcome to the Trainboard. Looking forward to seeing photos once your three-day waiting period for posting photos is over. BTW, you have interesting combination of prototypes. CSX runs the northern route through Mass. on ex-B&M rails along the NH and VT borders, whereas the NYC (now NS) ran the southern (ex-B&A) route through Mass. along the CT border. Forget Conrail, it ran all over. :wink:
Good to have you along...and I guess you prove that "local" is a relative term. I could tell you some stories about my time at Ft Polk!
