Just figured I would say hi and tell a bit about myself.
I have been a member for a little while. I am an N-scaler in the Central Ohio area. I am just getting back into trains after years of being out of it. My Grandfather got me into American Flyer and HO when I was a kid. Never really out grew them just had Life get in the way. Lol Now the kids are all grown and gone I have time and a little money again. Plus I have grandkids to get hooked on trains. I am working on a small 3X6ish layout. I like all types of trains Steam and Diesels. Not much else to tell. Thanks for reading.

Hi Richard, or should I say "Ish". Anyhoo, Welcome. happy that you decided to come into the open. I hope you have a train museum or club where your grandkids can get as excited as you. If you're ever near the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we have a Model Railroad Museum that you and your G'Kids would love. The excitement on the faces of kids of all ages, 3-93, male and female, is wonderful. :X3:

2 of the Grandkids (Granddaughter is 9 and Grandson is 7) love to run Grandpa's trains every time they come to visit. Grandson got a Lego train for Christmas. I think they are hooked. My other Grandson is 4 he just got a Thomas Train table. I am still working on the other 7 (All girls) Although the twins are only 15 months old. So I have plenty of time with them. LOL. We do have EnterTrainment Junction down near Cincy.

Welcome back Richard. Life certainly does get in the way. Good to see you have the grandkids involved in the hobby.

Welcome aboard. It's great to have something to share with the little ones like that, lots of good memories to make.

We have loads of fun together. I always make time to be with them as often as I can. I figure they are my legacy. If they remember me and learn from me my life will have been worthwhile. I have so many fond memories of time spent with both of my Grandfathers. I always learned something with them. Just didn't realize I was learning. I tried to do the same with all my Kids and now with the Grandkids.
