Hi, I've just added an article over at Ztrains that features some close-up shots of the new Micro-Trains, Micro-Track system: http://www.ztrains.com/pages/closeup/mt/track.html Enjoy! John http://www.ztrains.com
Again, a great article John I think I found a typo, in the middle of the article: But this picture: ...says it's 110mm It is 110mm right? Cause it matches up with the Marklin track.
Thanks Rob, You're correct, originally I had made the same typo in both the picture and the article text. I corrected the pic, but the text slipped by me. It's now corrected... thanks for paying attention John http://www.ztrains.com
With the roadbed of the new MT track painted and ballasted, you could use the Marklin turnouts with the MT Z scale track. It just takes time to paint the rails, as well as the track and then add the appropriate ballast of choice. Stay cool and run steam...... I read somewhere that the new turnouts won't be out until next summer. Just curious, but why the long wait? I think the new MTL track is great and a big plus for Z scale. MTL seems to move at a snails pace with new items, like the GP35 for example. Just my 2 cents. Doug
