For those who aren't already aware, NS is currently taking delivery of another 50 GE Dash 9-40CW units, Nos. 9695-9744. These locomotives were built last year by GE in Erie and were held for January delivery at the request of NS. They are being delivered in primer as was the case with previous orders and they will be painted by NS. The units are arriving 15-20 per week and all 50 should be delivered by the end of January.
