    Great shot I love to see multiple units like that. I gather it was in front of quite a lot of autoracks?

    Foreign power is nothing new out west. Saw an Alaska Geep in Barstow once! CP sends some run thru power down to CA on grain trains from Western Canada all the time. If Canadian units show up out here alot, don't ours show up in Canda?

    Was the whole train made up of autoracks? Looks like a lot of power for that train, three should have been enough.

    Also CN is now operating the Illinois Central and the Wisconsin Central, (plus the GTW which it's had for years) so it might not be quite as "foreign" as it first appears, WC and IC run through power reaching the west coast didn't seem too unusual a few years back, so this is likely just the logical successor...

    Thanks all. The train was MOSTLY autoracks. At the end were several tank and box cars.

    Yes, I was surprised to see a CN unit with UP. I have on occassions seen CN on BNSF lines in San Bernardino.

    Great shot. Helps me justify those N scale Kato CN SD-40's that visit my layout from time to time---I knew I bought them for a reason!
