    Announcement: new product from eNKay-Design!
I proudly present my first non-American model: the German heavy flatcar type SSy45.
This is a full metal model, made from brass and nickel-silver etched parts with FR couplers and plastic wheels. As standard the decking is made from metal, too. Laser-cut wood decking is available as an extra.

I will offer the car in 3 different versions: standard frame as shown in the pictures, curved fish belly and re-forced fish belly. The cars will be decorated in Era II (DRG), III and IV (DB). On request other road names are possible, because those cars were spread all over Europe after WWII.

So, why plastic wheels? Because the trucks are made from metal, too. Metal wheels can be fitted, but the insulated wheels need to face all the same direction to avoid short circuits. The car weighs only about 4g, which is very light. It offers you the option to add some heavy loads. Typical loads for those cars are heavy machinery, trucks and tanks. The couplers are 100% compatible to Marklin, no problem to mix and match.

If there is demand the car will be offered as a kit too, but it's not for beginners due to the fact you have to assemble the trucks.

The cars will be available from mid year. Price per complete car, fully assembled, painted & decals: EUR 60.00 / USD 65.00, wooden decking add EUR 3.00 / USD 3.50. Weathering extra on request.
Here some pictures of the first prototypes:
