Well, the good news is that AZL's heavy and light Mikados will be here soon. So, mass produced, North American steam in Z is almost here. Dan S. P.S.- if you don't mind Kitbashing, Tenshodo makes japanese Mikados and now Hudsons in Z. They are smaller locs than their American counter parts, but, I think the chassis of the Mik will work just dandy for a Pennsy H6 consolidation.
When I clcik on this link, it takes me to another search engine and at the top is says this domain may be for sale contact and then there is a phone number. There are also links to other sites that have nothing to do with trains. Mostly car dealerships and such and from around my area. Something must be wrong here.
Well I've tried everything and I can't get into this site. I keep getting a page with all kinds of other links, mostly car dealerships and a blurb at the top that says this domain may be for sale, contact Go Daddy and then there is a phone number. Something must be wrong somewhere if you all can get it and I can't.
Nobody can get in anymore because the domain name is no longer valid. That's why you get the page full of links and contact information from GoDaddy. The prior posts linking to the site in this thread are very, very old.
hi guys. Sorry I've been out of the loop for so long. Update on NASM: yeah, we never got off the ground, namely because of two major issues. 1) chinese manufacturing doesn't like it when us silly Americans actually want to change how things are built and manufacturing in the US was way too expensive. 2) when we tried to float a business loan, the toxic mortgage debaucle was just starting. Basically, no loan, so no liquid cash to get started, so we had to fold. However, out of the ashes of NASM comes me on my own to build these crazy things. It involves a completely different drive system that corners a lot better with the higher number of drivers and still uses the higher mass manufacturing to retain traction. I do ask that you guys continue to be patient with me as I do have a day job (I'm also a teacher) and finding suppliers for various mechnical parts and scaled drive wheels has been, how shall we say, prohibitively difficult. That being said and knowing that AZL is coming out with the mikey soon, I will be working more on the pacific, mountain and Berkshire chassis. "I'm not dead yet!"
