Hi folks! Forgive this (probably simple) question... I'm pretty new at all this...I'm busy working on our first layout...HO scale, and I'm at the hardshell stage...installing decoders...and a few other things. Here's the question. I recently bought a P1K C-liner. Great loco...but it's the first time I've had a loco that hasn't had the grab-irons attached. So what is the best adhesive to attach these flimsy little buggers? I wanted to ask before I attempt anything, for fear of damaging the shell. Any input is appreciated!
If you use "CA", put a TINY drop on the pointy end of a toothpick or paperclip, then gently transfer a tinier bit into the hole(s), or onto the grab iron end(s). Then insert grab iron end(s) into the hole(s) and press lightly for 15-30 seconds. Like DangerBoy said, a little goes a l-o-n-g way ... it runs like water and too much makes a heckuva mess.
