Aside from NOT having one cab sunshade, the only complaint I have
is that the horn/bell sound more like an Amtrak unit, rather than a
    Rio Grande unit!
Runs good, and will fill a decent size room with Smokey haze in 10 minutes!

With smoke unit fired up! Pun intended!!

This is maybe 1/3 the smoke output. Yes, it's much worse than this!
Trains shows are were I usually run the smoke! Because the kids LOVE playing in it!!

    Thought I had that!
It's a Mikes Train House unit.
All my 3 Rail motive power is MTH, except for 6 Atlas O units.

Picked up my MTH Rio Grande GP35 dummy unit this past Thursday.
As usual, it came between paydays, and enter yet, it came during a very short
pay check 2 weeks ago! Just as nice s the first unit. Has switch for front, rear or no lights.
But, WHY did the choose to do the same road numbers as Atlas, with their GP35's??
    MTH did: powered - #3031, dummy - #3034.

Still have yet to get a replacement sun visor for the original unit, since it was missing when I got the unit.
Looks like it was never installed at factory before unit was packed and shipped.

Oh well, guess I'll contact after New Year about it.

    Photo or two later.

Great looking paint job on that unit, has the DRGW look to it that I remember seeing on the prototype. The color looks right to my eye. Why did MTH choose to do the GP35 at all? Funny MTH chose the same numbers but then MTH does things like that all the time. Did MTH get the proper turbo EMD sound? Seems I read somewhere they were using the non turbo GP38 sound chip but I've never seen the MTH units in action to know. I have an Atlas GP35 in 2 rail and it's a sweet runner, WP though. It would be interesting to compare the two units to see who has the best rendition.

I've got a YouTube video of my powered unit in action.
Go to YouTube and look for 5771Fan. Also have a 3 unit set of Atlas GP60's posted.
I'll post that in the AM, after I get home from work.
To me, the horn/bell sound more like an Amtrak unit, than a Rio Grande unit.
Still, it looks/runs/sounds pretty good. And that's if/when I get the chance to actually
set up a loop of track and run!

Well that sure has the sound of the GP35 under load. I have to agree with you, the horn isn't DRGW.

Latest purchase, by the folks, for my B-Day, was a 4 pack of TCS DCC decoders for my GP60's.
I may add a few detail parts and maybe a couple of tools as well. And hope to send out a
payment Friday for an HO Scale GBW caboose. Will match the GBW ALCo FA set I have!
And that set matches the original ACLo builders photo!
