Did the NH ever lend any electric locomotives to the B&M for use in the Hoosac Tunnel? Question appeared on the B&M forum and has me curious.
I believe they were Westinghouse products built around 1910. I don't know who the original owner was, I think it was B&M, though it could have been the NH.....?
See this site: http://www.ieee.org/organizations/pes/public/2006/jul/peshistory.html The NH took control of the B&M, started the electrification and ordered 5 engines at Baldwin and Westinghouse. So they had something to do with these engines!
Thieu, thank you for that information. Would you mind posting it on the B&M Forum also? This topic was originally posted on that Forum. Thank you.
