Classic! Built back when depots were a proud part of their community. What's the history behind this one? What RR built it? Who owns/operates it now? Boxcab E50

Here's the Niles depot down the road from my house: This is where all the Charlie Chaplin movies were made, before they moved the movie industry to Hollywood.
So it was Michigan Central. Now I can look it up in an old Official Guide, and see where this is located. Robert- Is your Niles depot still trackside? Used perhaps by Amtrak? If so, it's unusual to see all the fancy flowers, etc. BTW- Wasn't there a tower also named Niles? Or am I thinking of the wrong RR? Boxcab E50
