    Howdy all,
Just wanted to let you know I've been going gangbusters on my Nor-Cal UP Connection site adding tons of new pics. Over the last three updates in the last three months 11 new models have been added as well. Come by and check it out at http://ncespee.railfan.net/UP/upmain.html . Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

A bit OT- Not sure how Californians view it, if considered as being "Nor-Cal", but I am wondering if John has any news from what is happening over on the old NWP?

Great pics but I also assumed when I saw "Nor Cal" that it was NWPRR. I've ridden all 3 of the railroads that operated in Nor-Cal during the late 70s (SP, WP, NWP). Check out my book "The Trains We Rode" on Amazon books. Thanx

BN and Santa Fe also operated in NorCal. NWPRR runs from NorCal to Upstate (State of Jefferson).

Sorry for any confusion the name of my site may cause. I picked it out long long ago and since I'm in Nor-Cal...well. :)

As for the NWP, I maintain a loco roster on my Foothill rails site at http://www.trainweb.org/foothill/nwptxtros.html . All I've been hearing is that they are running freight trains, some legal stuff may finally be cleared up over the whole CEQA lawsuits, and that SMART is continuing to work on improving the property and getting it ready for passenger trains. Seems as if all is going well enough.
