A long time ago, I posted a photo of my "fantasy" Norfolk Southern F59I (a F59PHI derivative for use on intermodal trains). Here is a newer photo that shows all the lights that have just been installed.

It has working ditch lights that flash alternately when a function is pushed. It also has independently controlled red marker lights. I love the look of the red lights on the black engine. To justify them, the engine sees limited service on office car specials and passenger excursions on the layout. ;)

    Jeff,
That thing sure does grow on ya! I'm not much on the body style of that Diesel honestly, but with the NS paint it looks right and for some odd reason It makes up the offensive body! It LOOKS right ya know, its just one of those things.... :D And with all the lights and so on makes it look even better!

I have to at least try to explain myself alittle on my reason on the body. Its the sleek design i'm not used to. I like the old SD-7/9's and GP-30 body styles you see. Its just "to new" but the Norfolk Sounthern Paint is one of those things "Just Right" to make the body fit in.... In other words with the paint you made up for the body and its wild!

I never was alot on the high speed body styles for some reason. Why I don't know but the paint job you done on that thing sure made up for the body! :D NICE WORK!

I have always wondered about what a 9-44CW would look like in BN with the white stripes on the nose but I dont think I will ever do one...
