Norfolk Southern Service Alert Flooding of the Mississippi River at Hannibal, Missouri (Force Majeure removed) July 4th, 2008 Norfolk Southern trains have resumed using the route through Hannibal, Missouri disrupted by the flooding of the Mississippi River. The main line has been restored and normal operations have resumed. Note to customers with committed service agreements: Norfolk Southern is removing Force Majeure effective 3:00pm, July 4, 2008.
