I am searching for information/photos of the NYC when it went thru Metamora, IN between 1930-1950. Building an N scale layout of the town, and still trying to locate more photos. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well, right off the top, I would suggest taking a look at the Whitewater Valley web site at: http://www.whitewatervalleyrr.org/ They have the track through Metamora and as a museum operation, they are bound to have some photos. I lmpw that I don't. Perhaps LEW does.
I don't know anything about this area, but can suggest this bit of info: Look for any state or county archives that may have files available for the area. Our state has a great system that helps in such research.... Harold
The suggestions about finding information would be correct.I have worked with men that worked that piece of track but most are gone. Until about 1950 the train from Riverside yard to Connersville would have around 60 cars each way.You can follow the track from Connersville all the way if that would help you. LEW
