Hey Comet I thought you might like these as well. This is a Eastbound Sussy-Q stack pulling into Maybrook NY in the fall of 1987. This is before the connection between the former L&HR and the Erie Graham line was built. The train would pull into the Maybrook yard off the Erie/LNE then the power would "run-around" the train to what was the rear and head South after getting on the former L&HR. Here is a Eastbound at the Campbell Hall NY commuter station after the connection was built Fall 1988.

Yes, I lived in the Mid Hudson Valley until 1995. I left for a job on BNSF. I couldn't get on Conrail.
