This single lane underpass is located in Georgetown Ontario. It was built in the mid 1800s. CN have a double track line passing through here now. The new, are the cylindrical hoppers
Great picture Robin. I loved hanging around those old stone structures during the years I was living in southern Ontario......and to have trains on hand as well. Nice. 'course what we call historical around here is just about "new" in other parts of the world. Any more?
Robin, that reminds me very much of an underpass in my home town of Little Falls, NY. It is now long gone since the New York Central right of way was rerouted there to eliminate a dangerous curve. How many tracks are on the ROW above this one?
