While searching the internet for Z Scale the other day, one of the search results was for a company "Organic" and their web address is aadots.com. I looked through their Z Scale items and found several items to my liking. I did my research of this business because something seemed fishy. I did not get much back but decided to place a small order to check it out. It turns out that Organic and aadots.com are SCAMS. Be advised that they will take your money and you will get nothing in return. Phone line has been disconnected and emails are undeliverable. The old adage still applies: If it seems to be to good to be true, then it probably is. My financial accounts are safe with only my pride hurt for the loss of $20.00. Be aware and safe!

My one thought is you acknowledged that things looked fishy, yet you proceeded with only a $20.00 gamble? o_O Heck, $20.00 is hard to come by these days, so I don't even take a $.20 cent gamble. :) Businesses that only take credit cards and no PAYPAL or no other methods of payment generally get a phone call from me before I ever place an order. Might want to shut whatever payment card you used down if you haven't already.

You could take this a few steps further if you are willing --- file a complaint with ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). The can research the domain name and shut it down if it's a scam --- assuming they do that. But I believe they do have a complaint method. Plus, I see they call out PAYPAL as a method of payment --- contact PAYPAL if they are a legitimate account holder. Doubtful though.

Also call your bank and dispute the charges. Your bank will then give you provisional credit until the matter is resolved. My wife worked for WF for years and she knows this process well.

I looked up their address from their website --- 593 Charrak Road, Terre Haute, IN ---- which does not exist as far as I can tell. Charrak and Charak are common to India.

Well the good news to this adventure is that when I paid by credit card, I got an email from a Alejandra Monroy LLC to open my PayPal account and pay via PayPal.I don't have much sense but I don't click on email links. Talked with the financial institutions and my identity theft company and they know about this now. Having Z Scale in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (Roll Tide) requires one to depend on the internet for purchases and I have made hundreds of purchases without any trouble. Y'all be careful out there and safe railroading!

Yep! You also have to really check out the photo to! I bought a marklin 8807 Southern 2-8-2 because I needed a chassis! The price was lower than most of the rest, So I paid for it and when it arrived it was in almost new shape except all the drive rods were missing and front set of wheels! well that was a waste of money! Even tried to find a set of rods but that won't work eighter. because looking at the wheels looks like they just broke them off holes all messed up so need a complete set of wheels and rods! What a deal!!!!
