Options for replacing Kato Wheel Wipers

    I am in need of some of the brass wheel wipers that go in the trucks on the SD90/80MAC's. I called Kato and they said you have to buy the entire truck to get the wipers, basically $12 for a part that Atlas sells for their engines at $.50. Does anyone have any ideas as to a replacement option? Or have a few bad trucks that they could be salvage out of?

    One time I used Atlas wheel contacts on a Kato unit. You might try that option.
