i have no problem chopping the nose off one of my kato NS SD40-2
and filling the gap to make it a high hood.
but i would rather buy the HH sd40-2.
Now this model made in HO along with a few other LARGE pieces of
rolling stock and the recommended radi is 30+''
i cant see to meny people being to run this monster on club or home
layouts to easy. BUT to say this guy cant see that meny people
building it in N scale is nuts, what do we need 15'' radi to run it??

Good things happen because of good people. This thread is uplifting and focusing. While it's always in my mind the work work and work that goes into these excellent products, I imagine the results. THANKS to the pioneers. It is almost impossible to exhibit my modeling preference without offending the bad guys. So be it.

Let me just say that if I were allowed to use profanity in this forum, that would accurately portray the kind of words I would say to this manufacturer. :)

But seriously, we have a few resin manufacturers in our scale, correct? Why not ask him if he'd be willing to share his resources with N-scale manufacturers who would put out something like that for us.
