What do Alco switchers, an 1899-era wooden coach, an Erie RR caboose, three large steel bridges, a 2 1/2% grade thru the Boston MOuntains, and a tunnel all have in common?

This special trip is being offered by the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad, which operates the ex-Frisco line between MOnett, MO and Ft. Smith, AR, and is 100% pure-dee Alco. SOrry for the short notice, but perhaps someone in Missouri, Oklahoma, or Texas could make the run up to Ft. Smith to ride behind an Alco T6 switcher north to Winslow and return. You'll go over three tall steel trestles, and through Winslow Tunnel near the top of the grade at Winslow before heading back down to Ft. Smith on the return trip. This part of the country has to be seen to be believed.
