Well guys I have had the unfortunate task of taking down my setup. I am having to move to the great state of Texas. I will still attempt to participate on the board here, but only after I set up again. I look forward to more railfan action at my new residence, but most of all look forward to setting up a better layout that will be a bit more permanent.

Hold the fort down until I get back on the board after the move.

EM1 7600: Been great sharing the east coast with you and being a co-rivarossi enthusiast! Can't wait for the Allegheny to come out. I have it on good authority that they have been shipped and are on their way to Walthers. That means that they won't be here in time for Christmas. At least they are coming.

    Til later---happpy railroading.

BNSF4354, email me so I can maybe call you when you get to Texas. I am in Ft. Worth, so may be close to where you end up. Just click on my email icon above. I'll send you my phone and maybe we can talk. I'm also HO and have several Riverossi engines, and one layout out in my model shop that is running, and building another in my old office. Keep in touch, and at least do come back to the trainboard when you get settled. You should feel right at home here in Texas. My wife drives a Hawaiian Orchid Cavalier, and I have an old Caddy, so you will still be among GMC fans! HA! :D

Well guys, I just couldn't find adequate employment over here. I was offered a position in Texas that will get me to where I want to be in the future. I am about done with my Ph.d. and will be able to put it to good use in this new position.

Watash, I will be about 35-40 minutes from you down by Burleson area on 35E. I will try and get you an email later---right now I am sure I will lose it before I get there. Do you know if the Cleburne shops are still operational because I might make the effort to head down that way and take a look. When I traveled through the area in the early 90s I remember a bunch of traffic on that line.

Thanks for the well-wishes. I will be on the board until about the first week of January and then I make the move. I will get back on when I get settled there.

Yes you will be close to my house when you get moved. Post or email when you get here, and we'll do some BBQ down at the RIG sometime. Glad to have you in the area, and also glad you still have work! I'm retired, but lots of layoffs now days. I'll watch for you in January!
