Hey all, I am trying to get my handrails painted on my Athearn AC and C 44s. They are in H1 and H2 colors of BNSF. The problem is I am not finding any colors matching the green. I prefer using acrylic paints. Can you give me any suggestions or am I going to have to start mixing stuff on my own?

    Thanks for the help.

    Bnsf,
Are you painting metal handrailing?? If so I would suggest to use a enamel paint to keep them from rusting in time. Arcylic paint does not surpress rusting. Enamel will. I think Testors brush paint "Od Green",
"Olive", or "Dark Green" might match real close to what your needing. The numbers for these paints are as follows (their on the bottle).

    #1164 Od Green
    #1165 Olive
    #1110 Dark Green

You may want to mix them if they don't match close enough to get the color your looking for. Hope this helps......

I have painted a few BNSF loco's, I use Floquil CNW green with about 5 drops of black.
    Works for me! ;)
