Has anyone tried to detail the Marklin passenger cars yet? The car bodies themselves are nice, but the undersides are just completely naked! I would make a world of difference just to put all the details down under there. Randy
Randy, you are absolutely right. I have given a lot of thought about adding detail to my office cars. I have article from MR as reference, but its just not my priority. Marklin passenger cars have little or the detail is too small. Most of the boxes and accessories should almost reach the ground. I am hoping to piggyback of the people who want heavyweights, so I dont have to do all the work. Heaviweight, talk about cars that have a lot of accessories. Specially the aircondition ones.
Yes, I found the article. Its in the April 2005 issue or MR. In page 26, there is good article on how to detail the equipment for passenger car. It deals with generators, subcooler, and water tanks.
