I'm looking for some information on passenger car consists for the Laurentian and/or the Adirondack during the PA era. Most or the photos I have seen are not clear on the car consist. Any help would be cool!

    Hi Greg! :D :D :D :D :D

I will take a look at what information I might have and in the mean time you might want to check out the DHVM Website. There are several sections that show photos of passenger service that might be of useful as well.

Example#1 - From the Diesel Section

Example #2 - From the Memorabilia Section

Well, I have been looking through some of my books tonight that have several photos of D&H Passenger trains and you name it I'm seeing it. There are mixtures of, new and old cars, different roads (e.g. NYC) passenger cars, short and long, 1 to All 4 PA's, I see RS engines both with and without the PA's including having multiple RS engines. There are times cars from the Laurentain were transfered to be connected to other lines as well as other lines connecting their cars to it. It is said in one book that it was rare to have three Alcos on the Laurentian but it did happen sometimes in the winter. I don't believe though you would have seen the Dome cars on the Laurentain since they were leased for usage on the Adirondack.

If there is something specific you are wanting to know if I am seeing in the books or not let me know.

Here are some of the books I've looked through tonight...

I was actually asking for someone else, thinking that they wanted an exact Consist, Car types, routing, etc, such as you might find in a timetable.
Linked him to DHVM and that did the trick. Did get me looking through most of the same books and a few others. Always a pleasure to peruse the pages graced with the PAs!! Thanks for your help Darren,
