Paul Tellier was never popular guy at CN; his was a management style of slash and burn. It worked at CN from a "public" point of view. CN stocks soared, however, internally it was another matter. Paul T was not an overly popular CEO to put it generously. Now Paul T has been booted out of Bombardier. According to a CBC report, there was an "alleged boardroom brawl." Paul T's slash and burn didn't work its magic at Bombardier, and to the non-surprise of many who were acquainted with him through the media, he wasn't expected to last - he did not! I wonder what company next he will slash and burn?
I certainly hope that the day of such management style is over! All we need to do, is look at other corporate caused messes in North America. And it's easily seen how the resulting quickie profit, turns swiftly into a nightmare. Boxcab E50
