I'm really digging the realistic looks of the new Streamline series of track by Peco-UK. Since I'm going to build my new layout as DCC only, should I be looking at the normal frog or the insulfrog turnouts? And why?

I used code 83 on my layout. I also used hot frog switches. This does mean you have to cut the switches and wire selective current off a switch machine or some form of selective power source. I prefer hot frogs since I run a lot of steam ( and DCC) this keeps the track hot with no gaps in the contact. Plus I like the way hot frogs look over the insulated ones. This is my personel prefrence. I have seen a lot of nice work with insul frogs. It does require more work but I feel it is well worth it.

IMHO, Electrofrog is the only way to go.
Sure, it's more work but continous contact is crucial, the more the smaller the scale.
