I just updated the Proto-file at Winter Valley Regional Railroad - Welcome! The buildings are a little unusual but easy to build. Sometimes we have to put aside the ''Courthouse Square' concept and create something really unique. See Winter Valley Railway - prototype page Glad you dropped by. Dave

Right. Few of us ever do though. We stand at the track side and focus on our passion. Perhaps if we turned around an took a closer look at the world they ran through we'd all be better modellers. We spend weeks fussing with the trucks on a GMD1 but find no issues with running it past a drug store in Mississippi. ;-) Dave
...and I really liked your web site. Years ago my wife and I detoured off our intended course so I could pass through Harpers Ferry. You brought back a lot of fine memories. Not many 'prairie town' buildings there though. ;-) Dave
Dave, Thanks for sharing the photos of the prototype winter valley. I like to see what gives the artist the inspiration. I did notice at leased one or two buildings that made it to your layout. I look forward to your next post. J
